Disable Lexicon on URLs?

Beitragvon DJ Andre » 10. Aug 2006 21:16

Hi,

I just installed Lexicon V2 2.0.4 and Lexicon v2 add-on: Quicklinks to lexicon 1.0.0. My board is phpBB 2.0.21.

The hack works great! Very much appreciated!

But... I am having a problem with URL links. If the URL has a word that is on the Lexicon dictionary. It will break up the URL from not linking correctly. And if the the first word on the link is in the Lexicon dictionary, it will cause the link to not work at all.

For example: I have the word Hip-Hop on the Lexicon dictionary.

And if I write the URL link like this:

Hip-Hop tutorial

Code: Alles auswählen
Hip-Hop tutorial

It will break the URL in it will stop working. Is there a way to fix this?

Yes - The error is well-known and can presently not be gone around.

I am working on that. But it is very heavy to solve the problem without loading the board strongly. :?

Yes, and it all causes issues when we use code brackets. For example:

Code: Alles auswählen
testing if URL is being linked to your Lexicon database within code brackets.

Normally code info we don't wish the words to be underline like it behaves with some forums that anything linked will be underlined.
